News for Tenants, RSS Feed Sync & Knowledge Base Polish
This release brings News to the tenant experience, adds automatic RSS feed synchronisation so news can stay current without manual effort, and includes several fixes to the Knowledge Base editor.
News in the Tenant Portal & Help Center
Knowledge Base categories can now be organised into two groups — Help Articles and News — letting you publish time-sensitive announcements separately from your evergreen help content.
For tenants, this surfaces in two places:
- Home page feed — the most recent news articles appear in a compact, horizontally scrollable strip right below the property cover image, so residents see the latest updates the moment they open the app.
- Dedicated News section — a new News entry sits alongside Help in the tenant navigation, opening a full browsable list with category filtering. Articles open in a rich reader view with cover image, publish date, attachments, and a helpful/not-helpful feedback prompt.
News is shown to tenants when the Help Center is enabled for the site, and the home-page feed hides itself automatically when there is no news to show.
Automatic RSS / Atom Feed Sync
News categories can be connected to an external RSS or Atom feed. Once a feed URL is set, the platform:
- Validates the feed when you save it, so configuration mistakes surface immediately
- Syncs new items automatically once a day, creating an article per feed entry with its title, content, publish date, and cover image
- De-duplicates entries so the same item is never imported twice, and downloads each cover image only once to keep things fast
This is ideal for pulling in building-association news, municipal notices, or your own company blog without anyone having to copy and paste updates by hand.
Knowledge Base Editor Fixes
Several issues in the Knowledge Base editor have been resolved, including improved handling of articles that embed inline images, for a smoother authoring experience.
